The Chilean Miners Broke The Record For The Longest Stay Underground! What Did They Win?

The Chilean miners broke the record for the longest stay underground, and they were given $10,000 each as well as some other prizes for being down there.

The 33 miners were trapped 2,000 feet underground for 69 days. After their rescue and a stay at the hospital they learned that they will be honored in the Guinness World records for longest time trapped underground.

They also received $10,000, new iPods from Steve Jobs himself, an offer to tour the islands of Greece, and an invitation to a soccer game between Madrid and Manchester United!
